I wanted to write a fun & witty blog about moving next saturday, but time is running away from me in a full sprint! So- consider yourself updated: we're moving! We found a cute little rental in 'downtown' beaverton- about 6 blocks from the library. We are really looking forward to moving out of this cave we call an apartment and into something a little more homey with a back yard! BBQ's ensue! Oh, and of course, if you don't already have riveting plans- come on over for a free workout and meal to-boot! ;)

What is this you might ask. Well, this is a bike ride to help raise money for the American Lung Association. My dad and I did this a few years ago and rode from Amity, just south of McMinnville, to Pacific City, which is on the coast between Tillamook and Lincoln City. Total distance 55 miles.
Well we are doing it again. This time we are doing it on a tandem which should be fun. It will be good father son bonding time and it is all for a good cause.
So you may be asking, "so, why do we care Matt?".
Well this is where you can participate. Ok so you don't have to dust off your bikes and pump up your tires, but you can donate a couple of bucks for the cause. You could skip your daily mocha, skip out on buying that gossip magazine, skip lunch for a day or maybe you know someone who has lung disease or has died from lung disease and you want to donate in their honor. It is easy and you can even do it online. All you have to do is go to my website, http://rtb.kintera.org/matt1, and enter in your donation.
I have been challenged to raise at least $50 by May 16th which means I have about 10 days to accomplish this. This may not seem like a lot but I think that I can raise more with your help. So, if you have any spare change or an extra buck or two, please donate to the cause.
Thank you in advance for your help
